Our Monarch Tractor At Wheels Of Wanaka

Over the Easter weekend, our fully electric Monarch tractor took a little break from orchard duties to join the legendary Wheels at Wānaka event — and what a weekend it was! From its usual home among the cherry rows of our orchard, the Monarch was transported to the event on an electric truck (naturally!) to join an impressive lineup of machines, motors, and gearheads from around the country.

It was an epic opportunity to connect with other Kiwis and showcase what this piece of tech is capable of — not in theory, but in practice. Because let’s be honest: electric farming isn’t some far-off fantasy. It’s already happening. And it’s helping us cut emissions, slash fuel bills, and prove that you can run a productive, high-performing farm without a drop of diesel.
